What happens next?
We will acknowledge and investigate your complaint in accordance with our Complaints Handling Procedure. We have up to eight weeks to resolve a complaint. If we have not resolved it within eight weeks, or if you remain dissatisfied after our final response, you may be able to ask the Legal Ombudsman to consider it.
Ordinarily, a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman must be made within six months of our final written response (where that response contains the required signposting), and no more than one year from the act or omission complained about, or one year from when you should reasonably have known there was cause for complaint.
